Build and Crush Guides
Walkthroughs for building, research, crates, blueprints, and map destruction.
Welcome to the Build and Crush guides hub on buildandcrush.wiki. Unsquared’s Roblox sandbox drops you into a garage full of physics parts, asks you to research new components, grow crate plants for rare loot, and then drive whatever you built into a destructible map with up to seven other players. Early access moves quickly, so these guides stay focused on what players actually search for: a clean first session, stable controls, efficient research, and vehicles that crush instead of flip.
If you have never launched the experience, start with Getting Started. It covers the core loop, your first 30 minutes, and links to every system below. Returning players can jump straight to the topic they are stuck on.
All Build and Crush guides

- Getting Started — what the game is, early access expectations, and a first-session checklist

- Controls — PC, mobile, and console inputs for building, driving, and camera work
Progression systems
- Garage Research — unlocking parts, research XP, and early-game priority paths
- Crate Plants — planting, harvesting, luck, and sizing crate boxes for rare parts
- Blueprints — publishing, browsing, purchasing, and loading community builds
Combat, destruction, and meta builds
- Destroy the Map — demolition mechanics, weapons, and multiplayer crushing sessions
- Best Builds — sweepers, drillers, missile trucks, and tier-aware early vehicles
- Multiplayer & Co-op — eight-player servers, roles, voting, and lobby etiquette
- Game Passes — Architect, Lost and Found, Paintbrush, and free alternatives
Each guide cross-links siblings so you never dead-end after learning one mechanic.
Recommended reading order
Day one: Getting Started → Controls → How to Play. You will understand where to spend currency, how to place your first wheels, and why the map reset timer matters.
Day two onward: Garage Research plus the Research tier list for unlock order, then Crate Plants when you want passive parts income. Once you can afford interesting chassis, read Best Builds and compare parts on the Parts tier list.
Social players: Multiplayer & Co-op, Destroy the Map, and Community Tips explain eight-player roles, blueprint voting, and trading norms without griefing newcomers.
Optional Robux spenders: Game Passes compares Architect, Lost and Found, and Paintbrush against free progression—read it before opening the Store tab.
How these guides stay accurate
Build and Crush is in early access (launched September 2025 with ongoing 2026 updates). Unsquared ships balance tweaks, new research tiers, and feature drops such as the Blueprints machine regularly. We align guide facts with our internal facts registry and patch notes on the Updates hub—especially Blueprints update and Early access roadmap.
When a guide references numbers (crate timers, research costs, tier names), treat them as snapshots. If your live UI differs, the mechanic explanation still applies even if the exact price moved overnight.
Guides vs other wiki sections
Guides teach how systems work. Other hubs answer adjacent questions faster:
- Codes — promo strings when Unsquared enables them
- Tier List — condensed rankings for parts and research
- Tools — interactive helpers such as the Research Planner
- Scripts — why we do not recommend executors for progression
- Official Links — Roblox game URL, Unsquared group, and Discord

Quick FAQ-style reminders
Before you grind for hours, remember: research unlocks beat hoarding duplicate starter parts, crate plants reward patience more than spam-clicking, and blueprint purchases should complement—not replace—learning how joints and weight distribution work. The guides above exist so you learn the why, not just copy a meta truck and wonder why it flips on the first ramp.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which Build and Crush guide should I read first?
Start with Getting Started, then Controls and How to Play. Those three pages explain the garage, building mode, and map destruction loop before you dive into research or crate farming.
Do these guides cover mobile and PC?
Yes. Controls dedicates a full section to mobile layouts, and every progression guide notes when a mechanic differs between touch and keyboard players.
How do guides relate to tier lists?
Guides explain systems in depth; tier lists rank parts and research unlocks for quick decisions. Cross-link both when planning upgrades.
Will guides update after early access ends?
We refresh guides after major patches listed on the Updates hub. Early access mechanics may change, but the core build-research-crush loop should remain.
Can I share these guides with my Roblox group?
Yes. Link friends to specific guides with trailing-slash URLs. For official announcements, still point them to the Roblox game page and Unsquared Discord.
